Tribal Twins is a musical partnership between Koné Moerman and Filippo La Malfa, who first crossed paths in Copenhagen in 2022. Their immediate musical chemistry led them to busk together on the city’s streets, captivating audiences with their dynamic energy and talent. Their striking resemblance earned them the moniker “Tribal Twins,” a name that has since become synonymous with their unique sound.
Both Koné and Filippo are adept at playing a variety of traditional instruments, including the handpan, didgeridoo, djembe, bongo, and flutes. They skillfully blend these with electronic elements and psytrance influences to create a signature sound that is both ancient and contemporary.
